Marxism Definition

Marxism is not being talked about within the USA media but is a strong backdrop for the BLM movement. The BLM movement is lead by individuals who follow the tenets of marxism.

So, let’s look at a few definitions courtesy of the Merriam Webster Dictionary.

We need to take a look at socialism, capitalism & communism before we look at Marxism.

Definition of socialism

1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods 2a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state 3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

Note: is theories and philosophy which leans heavily towards communism.

Definition of capitalism

: an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market

Definition of communism

1a: a system in which goods are owned in common and are available to all as needed b: a theory advocating elimination of private property 2 capitalized a: a doctrine based on revolutionary Marxian socialism and Marxism-Leninism that was the official ideology of the U.S.S.R. b: a totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production c: a final stage of society in Marxist theory in which the state has withered away and economic goods are distributed equitably d: communist systems collectively

Definition of Marxism

the political, economic, and social principles and policies advocated by Marx especially: a theory and practice of socialism (see SOCIALISM sense 3) including the labor theory of value, dialectical materialism, the class struggle, and dictatorship of the proletariat until the establishment of a classless society

Definition of dialectical materialism (from Wikipedia)

Dialectical materialism is a philosophy of science and nature developed in Europe and based on the writings of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.[1][2] Marxist dialectics emphasizes the importance of real-world conditions, in terms of class, labor, and socioeconomic interactions. This is in contrast to the Hegelian dialectic, which emphasized the idealist observation that human experience is dependent on the mind’s perceptions. Marx supposed that these material conditions contained contradictions which seek resolution in new forms of social organization.

Definition of proletariat

1: the laboring class especially: the class of industrial workers who lack their own means of production and hence sell their labor to live 2: the lowest social or economic class of a community

… can we talk about Charles Darwin?

I do think it’s time for the left’s own rules to be applied to one of their most cherished and beloved heroes.

Even by the most generous of measures, the intellectual and philosophical heritage of Charles Darwin is one of the most hideously racist legacies one can fathom. And yet, his inherently racist dogma is not only presented in public schools across America, it is state and federal policy that every student in America demonstrate proficiency in understanding and applying his dangerous ideology.
